What feud?! Rumors have been swirling that Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea are at odds with each other, after Nicki appeared to diss Iggy’s music, but not only has Nicki slammed down the fight — she wants to record a hit with Iggy!
Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea might be teaming up to make music! To clear up the buzz surrounding their alleged fight, the ladies of hip hop are in talks to record a hit together. And that’s not all — keep reading for more details on their potential collaboration!
Nicki Minaj & Iggy Azalea Not Fighting
Nicki Minaj started a feuding frenzy when she appeared to diss Iggy Azalea at the 2014 BET Awards on June 29 for not writing her own music. When Nicki accepted her award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, she brought up artists who don’t write their own music, and people thought she was calling out Iggy.
There was also a report that Nicki found out that T.I. was the ghostwriter for Iggy, which only added fuel to the fire.
Well, guess what? That’s all totally false! Nicki shut down the fight, actually praising Iggy on Twitter on July 2. The “Pills N Potions” rapper tweeted, “The media puts words in my mouth all the time and this is no different. I will always take a stance on women writing b/c I believe in us!”
She gave serious props to Iggy, tweeting: “I’ve congratulated Iggy on the success of ‘Fancy,’ publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud.”
Nicki Minaj & Iggy Azalea Recording A Hit Together?
Nicki made it loud and clear that there’s no feud, and now, we’ve learned that they might even team up to make music!
“The idea is in its infancy but since people have been talking about the alleged feud between them both they have discussed to take it as a positive and record a song together,” an insider EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com.

Nicki just announced that she’s releasing a song, “Bang Bang,” with Ariana Grande and Jessie J so this would only add to Nicki’s long list of hot summer collaborations. Ariana was also just announced, as the first presenter of the VMAs.
