Don’t ask Robin Thicke where his ex Paula Patton is — he has no idea. On July 1, when Robin Thicke stopped by New York’s Hot 97 radio station to promote his new album ‘Paula,’ he shockingly revealed that he has not seen his estranged wife ‘for four months.’ Read on to watch the video.

Robin Thicke, 37, and Paula Patton, 38, have been inseparable for more than 20 years — until about 16 weeks ago. When Robin stopped by New York’s Hot 97 radio station to promote his new album Paula (guess who it’s about) on July 1, he dropped the stunning bomb that he and his ex have been totally separated for quite some time.

Robin Thicke & Paula Patton Have Not Seen Each Other In Four Months

Robin spoke about the state of his relationship with Paula and losing the love of his life.

“I try to keep most of that private, but, I haven’t seen her for four months,” Robin said. “If you’ve been together that long, you kinda became adults together instead of being adults and then meeting. But maybe a year or two off, we’ll become our own people without each other and then it will be meant to be.”

Robin goes on to say that the new album — his attempt to win Paula back — contains all the thoughts he had in his head after he and Paula split: “We just weren’t happy together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologize for, and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that’s pretty much what the album’s about.”

Hey Robin, we’re no experts on love, but we’re pretty sure that if your ex hasn’t even met you for coffee in four months, that means she’s pretty pissed and over you. Not even an album dragging your personal lives into the spotlight begging her to take you back is gonna help.

Robin Thicke Slammed On Twitter

Paula isn’t the only one who’s tired of Robin.

On July 1, the singer hosted an #AskThicke Twitter session to promote his album, but he was met with some harsh questions from fans about his relationship with Paula, his morals, and writing “Blurred Lines,” which one fan called a rape anthem. To give you an idea, this is pretty much how all the questions went:

Despite negative reactions from fans though, Robin appeared to be in good spirits when he stepped out in New York later that day.

HollywoodLifers, what do you think about Robin’s interview? Are you surprised that Robin and Paula have not seen each other in months? Let us know!
