Amber is ready to reveal those details in a shocking new tell-all book, Never Too Late, in hopes that her fans and her daughter — Leah, 5, — will see her struggle and try to understand how she got to that point.
Amber Portwood Opens Up In New Tell-All Book
Going to prison is no vacation — and Amber Portwood wants everyone to know that.
The Teen Mom alum has announced that she will be releasing her tell-all memoir, Never Too Late, with explicit details about her time behind bars. The mother of one has publicly struggled with her bad girl ways and her rocky relationship with her daughter’s father, Gary Shirley.
Amber opened up about her decision to write a book and just how out of control she was letting her life get, telling In touch Weekly, “It’s a brutally honest account of how bad my life got.”
She wrote just what topics she will be discussing in her memoir, and they include, “Addiction. Mental illness. Death. Divorce. Betrayal. Violence. Suicide attempts. Felony charges. Rehab. Drug overdoses and jail.”
Wow. It is so brave of Amber to open up about her struggles with addiction and her time in prison.
Amber Says It’s ‘Not Too Late’ To Change
While discussing her upcoming book, Amber went on to say that it has a great message for fans.
“I’m living proof that it’s never too late to change your life for the better.”
Amber is right! We are happy to hear that she is doing so well after prison, and that she has managed to get her life back on track.
Hopefully, Amber’s book will do exactly what she wants it to do — help others.
