‘America’s Got Talent’ has incredible talent this season, and with each round of auditions, it only gets better! Judge Howard Stern even thinks he found a possible winner! Read on for your full recap — these performances are too funny to miss!
America’s Got Talent takes over the Big Apple! Host Nick Cannon made his way on stage during the June 24 episode, and judges Heidi Klum, Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, and Mel B saw some of the craziest talent yet — Heidi even played with a spider! Is this the best season ever?
‘America’s Got Talent’ Auditions: Psychics, Artists & Spirits
This week was off to a rough start — The Psychic Divas of New York tried to read the minds of the four judges, but they weren’t having it. Looks like these psychics couldn’t really see what was coming in their future because they got four X’s straight across the board!
Mike Super, the mystifier, brought out his spirit Desmond to play. His spirit freaked us all out (in a good way) because when Heidi played his assistant, the pitcher that she was holding ended up cracking! Pretty cool, right? We sure thought so and so did the judges — four great votes for Mike and Desmond!
Bobby and his wife Valo came in with a “brilliantly dangerous” act that had everyone gasping and on their feet. Bobby used the strength of his forehead to hold his wife up, as she spun around in a wired contraption above him. At the end of the performance, the crowd was screaming, “Put them through!” They deserved it!
The Mothmen dancers made the judges fall in love, as they danced and flew across the stage, using wires to hold them up.
“We are having the best season of America’s Got Talent in the history of this show,” Howard said. We agree, Howard!
Robert Channing had us all confused at first, but the talented guy ended up speed painting a pretty cool picture — and then, he threw some glitter on his masterpiece, and an incredible sparkling portrait of Howard popped out!
A nervous 11-year-old Mara Justine took center stage, but surely enough, she had insane vocals that put everyone on their feet! Howard said she made the judges have that “wow” moment!
Howard Stern Finds His Million Dollar Winner
Rollerblader Juan Carlos danced his way around the stage in a shiny red jumpsuit, making everyone laugh with the silly poses and faces he had made. Looks like Mel B, Heidi and Howie definitely want to see more — Howard, not so much! Nick, even put on a pair of rollerblades, and danced his way on and off the stage with Juan. Love that guy!
“You know what seemed to be missing from the act? Bones!” Howie said, after Nina Burri shocked the crowd with an insane contortionist act. We were surprised nothing detached — like her head! The judges loved every minute of it. Could Nina be this season’s winner?
Inspired and taught by their grandfather, Russian brothers Dariel and Emil played the electric cello. They even put their grandpa to tears — the old man said when his grandsons work hard, “dreams do come true.”
Heidi believed the One Voice Children’s Choir was one of the best choirs thats ever been on the show, but Howie disagreed big time. As Mel B was on the fence about saying “yes” or “no,” Howard got on his hands and knees and begged for her to put them through. Drumroll, please…she gave the choir another chance!
Ario Pelegrin covered his face with five tarantulas — yes, you read that right, tarantulas! Mel B ran for the hills when she saw the contestant was playing with spiders, but Heidi didn’t seem to mind, as she held the crawling creature in her hand. Who said models can’t kick ass?!
Jungle Don should get a million dollars for just doing the act he did tonight (even though the judges hated it)! He attempted to eat a cactus! Ouch. Nick joked, “Do you need a bandage for your tongue?”
Didn’t your dad teach you not to play with silverware, Grennan James?! The 8-year-old said he’s determined to have his own show in Vegas one day, but don’t be distracted by his cuteness — he throws knives! The little guy popped balloons that his dad was holding in his hands and mouth. Well, they must have a very interesting family dinner ritual! All aside, Grennan impressed everyone!
Next up was an older crowd: the male dancers of Rock Hard Venue stripped down in a crazy dance routine to “Turn Up The Music” by Chris Brown. They even added in some booty shaking at the end! It got better — Howie took off his shirt and jumped on stage with the dancers. Woah, Howie!
Frank The Singer proved the age doesn’t matter. The 74-year-old man put the crowd to their feet with his incredible performance of “I’ve Got The World On A String.” Frank told the judges that he didn’t start singing until later in life because he was a stutterer and he didn’t have the confidence, but he came out and killed it!
What was the best act tonight, HollywoodLifers? Let us know if you’ve picked out a winner, at this point in the game!
