Patriotism has never looked so stylish! The first lady looked incredible in a red, white, and blue printed frock that she donned at the Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday morning.
Michelle Obama absolutely glowed in her Tanya Taylor cocktail dress as she congratulated 50 people on obtaining American citizenship in Washington DC on June 18. What a fabulous representation of our country!
Michelle Obama’s Dress — Naturalization Ceremony Chic:
While the dress would be a definite splurge for a 4th of July barbecue, we love how fitting it is for the upcoming holiday! Mrs. Obama looked so patriotic in her midi dress! The frock was flattering and totally appropriate for such an exciting ceremony.
We’ve seen this style on Michelle before, and we love how she knows exactly how to flatter her figure! The sleeveless dress allowed her to show off her toned and trim arms and the high neckline gave her look a sophisticated element, fitting her conservative yet chic sense of style. The print was fun, but the cut was classic — perfect for the fashionable first lady!
Michelle wore the dress with a skinny silver belt, pointy grey heels, and white drop earrings. The look was sweet but professional and we loved it on her! She kept her makeup neutral with a glossy lip and an effortless blowout.
The first lady looked amazing, and it’s hard to believe that she turned 50 earlier this year! The mother-of-two has been a political and social icon over the past five years, and it’s been fun to watch her blossom as a fashion icon as well!
We applaud Michelle’s ability to always be fashionable without distracting her audience or making too much of a statement. We think her style is so presidential, do you?
