The stylish Disney darling has been selected by Madonna and her daughter, Lola, to be the face of the Fall 2014 Material Girl campaign…and we think she is the perfect choice! Do you think she makes a good material girl?
Zendaya Coleman, 17, is everywhere these days! Whether you turn on the Disney channel, saw her salsa-ing away on Dancing With the Stars or you’re listening as she tops Billboard’s Hot 100, she’s unstoppable — but our favorite thing to follow is her fashion! Due to the way she takes risks on the red carpet, we weren’t surprised in the slightest to see her front the new Material Girl campaign. She’s certainly talented, and Madonna and daughter Lola seem beyond excited to have Zendaya on their team!
Zendaya Coleman’s Material Girl Campaign:
The Material Girl clothing line features flirty looks with a little edge — and rocking them with confidence is key! Madonna showed that she believes Zendaya possesses just that, commenting, “Zendaya exudes a confident, free spirit. We love having her as the new face of Material Girl.” The actress is the perfect fit for their campaign! Lola seemed just as enthusiastic to have Zendaya aboard, saying, “I love how Zendaya makes her own style rules to fit her personality – that’s who Material Girl is all about, being yourself to the fullest.”
Clearly, the original “Material Girl,” (Madonna, of course!), and her daughter, Lola, love Zendaya’s style, and we have to agree! The stylish teen visited the Coney Island boardwalk for a photo-shoot for the brand, and she looked gorgeous in every piece!
Zendaya Coleman’s Shoot:
Zendaya looked fierce and fashionable in a blouse with zipper detailing paired with black denim. The outfit is stunning on her, and the strappy heels definitely complete the ensemble perfectly! The fun animal print brings out her stunning complexion and the v-neck style draws attention to her beautiful face.
She looked much edgier in a black and blue crop top & skirt combo that showed a little hint of skin in a stylish and tasteful way. This would be perfect to wear to a concert or for a night out with friends. The darker color palette made Zandaya’s red lip pop and we love how she wore her long, wavy locks cascading down her shoulder.
Zendaya is just as thrilled with her latest collaboration, saying the brand is all about “having fun with fashion and being confident in your own skin… and who does that better than Madonna?” We couldn’t agree more, Zendaya!
Keep your eyes out for the launch of Material Girl’s Fall 2014 collection, available exclusively at Macy’s, if you want to scoop up Zendaya’s cool style without having to break the bank.
