Kate Gosselin Returns To Reality TV

Kate Defends Bringing Kids Back Into Spotlight: ‘I Have 8 Kids To Support’
Kate has been subject to criticism for throwing her family into the spotlight so why did she decide to return to TV? “I am always willing to whatever comes my way,” Kate who will next appear in The Celebrity Apprentice tells HollywoodLife.com. “I do have eight kids to support solely and so obviously that is at the heart at every parent.”
The mother of eight adds that her “morals and ethics” are at the center of any project she takes on, and that the new two-part special is better than ever.
“It’s an update of where we left off, what has happened in the last few years. It feels like we ended yesterday and kind of just picked up, but at the same time, the kids are older,” Kate says. “They are funnier. The conversations we have now are like hysterical.”
Despite their most recent fumble on the Today show, Kate promises that her kids were thrilled to participate in the new show: “They cheered like crazy. It was like I announced that it was Christmas tomorrow. I mean, for real!”
Will Kate’s Dating Life Be Featured On The Special?
Kate divorced her husband and reality costar Jon in 2009 so has she been dating since?
“If he’s not in my kitchen, I’m not dating!” Kate who admits to HollywoodLife.com. But, she says her kids are old enough to weigh in on her personal life these days.
“They want to give me fashion advice and dating advice and all of these other things,” she says. “They are very vocal and that has come out in [the special], and they’re just the same great kids and becoming more of who they are and will be.”
Part one of Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10 airs on June 19 (10/9c) and part two follows on June 26 on TLC. Click to WATCH a sneak peek above.
