For all of you who have frequent dates with your couch watching Sex And The City reruns (like us) — you might have to get up and run to theaters. Sarah Jessica Parker opened up about a third Sex And The City movie, and Chris Noth gave us EXCLUSIVE details. Read on to find out if it’s really happening!
‘Sex And The City': Sarah Jessica Parker Wants Movie #3
It’s been a decade since Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) changed our lives for the better with the best show ever, so are they returning for more?
According to SJP, that’s quite possible!
“I know there is a story,” Sarah admitted at the Cannes Lions advertising festival on Monday, June 16. “Whether we tell it remains to be seen…the answer remains unclear at this time.”
The actress added that she’s never had a real conversation about a third installment with Michael Patrick King who wrote many SATC episodes.
Sarah has previously expressed her eagerness to bring Carrie Bradshaw back to the silver screen. “A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell,” Sarah told InStyle magazine in January 2014. “But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait for ever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”
Would Mr. Big Return For ‘Sex And The City 3’?
We love, love, love the SATC ladies, but what’s the Big Apple without Mr. Big (Chris Noth)?
Once we heard that SJP was in on movie no. 3, we had to ask Chris if he’d be game. And…he pretty much crushed our dreams.
“It would be fun, but I don’t think it’s in the cards,” Chris told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the Eco Rock Benefit for the Rainforest Action Network on Monday, June 16 at The Cutting Room in NYC. “I haven’t heard of one and I don’t see one in the future…I think everyone is past it, over it, moved on from it. There are more important things going on.”
We’re not past it! Hopefully, Mr. Big is just playing hard to get…
HollywoodLifers, do you hope that Sex And The City returns for a third movie? Let us know if you’d run to theaters!
