Just 13 weeks ago, Florida teen Anna Faith Carlson posted a side-by-side photo of herself with ‘Frozen’ character Elsa. She looks exactly like the Disney character! The photo — and Anna — have gone viral, and now Anna’s hoping to invade Hollywood.
Anna Faith Carlson, 18, has snapped up 350,000 Instagram followers since going viral — and she wants to use her new social media status to snag a role on Once Upon A Time! In the show’s Season 3 finale, Frozen‘s Princess Elsa arrived as a new character — and Anna wants the role in Season 4. Anna opened up to HollywoodLife.com about her plans to try and get on the hit show!
Anna Faith Carlson: Real-Life Princess Elsa Wants A ‘Once Upon A Time’ Role
Anna posted an Instagram message on June 12 asking followers to post photos of her (as Elsa) with #AnnaAsElsa in hopes of getting the coveted Elsa role on the next season Once Upon A Time. Is it working?
“I never thought I’d get so much support,” Anna reveals to us. We asked her why she wants to be on the show — and if she thinks she has the experience to snag the part! “If I got an audition, I could show them two sides of Elsa. On Once Upon A Time she was a bit of a villian, but I could show her other side — that she’s trying to protect everyone. I have a couple skits I could show them — and I could sing, too!” Anna knows her dream is big, and admits “no one from ABC has contacted me yet,” but she’s still hopeful!
“I’ve been singing publicly since 2nd grade. For the last few years, I’ve been working with a children’s academy of fine arts. I hope I could surprise people if I was ever on the show,” she reveals. “I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m definitely younger than the age they want, but I’d love to be a part of it!”
Anna Faith Carlson: Parents Cry When They See Me!
Besides trying to get her first TV role, Anna spends time dressing up as Elsa (her real-life sister dresses up like Frozen‘s Anna!), and visiting kids in hospitals and schools. Parents get emotional when they see her! “A lot of parents actually cry when they see me, because sometimes they can’t go to Disney World because something’s holding them back, like money, and so this is how their child meets a character they love so much,” she spills. How sweet!
No matter what happens, Anna is loving her viral status. “This is my dream and it’s hard to comprehend that any of it is happening,” she says.
