Tamara and Jake may be on the outs on this season of ‘Awkward,’ but are they really over for good? Jillian Rose Reed dishes to HollywoodLife.com about the future of Jakara in an all-new interview.
Jakara fans were heartbroken when Jake and Tamara split during season four of Awkward. But are first loves ever really over? Awkward star Jillian Rose Reed talks to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about the future of Tamara and Jake’s romance.
‘Awkward’ Season Four: Are Tamara & Jake Broken Up For Good?
Awkward’s senior year has brought about many changes for the Palos Hills teens. For starters, one of Awkward’s most popular power couples, Tamara and Jake (Brett Davern), split after months of fighting.
Tamara and Jake haven’t quite kissed and made up in the romance or friendship department, but Jillian is ready to put Jakara fans at ease. So will Tamara and Jake ever get back together?
“Jakara will never be over for good,” Jillian told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about Jakara. “But this season it is transitioning into the friendly phase, there are moments that will show what we are looking for, its been fun and Jakara is a great thing. I love playing his girlfriend and ex girlfriend.”
Whew! Thank goodness there’s still hope for Tamara and Jake. There’s still a lot left in season four of the hit MTV show, so anything can happen. We’d love to see them rekindle that fiery romance before they graduate.
‘Awkward’ Sets Sights On Graduation
With senior year comes the impending high school graduation. Awkward’s teens have diplomas and college on the horizon, which means big changes for our favorite characters. Tamara and BFF Jenna (Ashley Rickards) have sent their college applications, but will the show come to an end now that high school is over?
“I have yet to see what the back 10 episodes have in store for us… but I can tell you that the show doesn’t have to end just because high school did,” Jillian revealed in an earlier interview.
Yay! Awkward is already hilarious while the kids are in high school, so just imagine what it will be like in college. And if Tamara’s recent college visit is any indication of what’s to come, we are so looking forward to Awkward: The College Years. We think Tamara and Sadie (Molly Tarlov) would make hilarious roommates. Maybe Tamara and Jake will be end up on the same hall?
HollywoodLifers, what do you think about the glimpse of hope on the Jakara radar? Do you want to see them back together? How are you liking Awkward season four? Let us know!
