It looks like the day has finally come for Justin to be officially charged for the egging of his next door neighbor’s home in California, according to a new report. Do you think Justin was involved or is it one big misunderstanding?
Justin Bieber could be in some serious trouble! The 20-year-old will be charged with criminal vandalism on June 16, according to TMZ. The report claims that Justin could be charged with a felony. This all stems from Justin’s neighbor who claims that Justin and his friends egged his home in Calabasas, Calif., causing upwards of $20,000 and there is surveillance video footage that has reportedly implicated the Biebs.
Justin Bieber Finally Getting Charged For Vandalism Case
Justin has been trying to lay low since the videos leaked of himself using the “N-word” became public but now he may have to deal with yet another scandal. The pop star was accused on January 9, 2014 of egging his neighbor’s home. About one week later police raided Justin’s home and found footage of Justin on a surveillace tape, high fiving his friend after allegedly egging the home next door.
In the video, Justin is wearing the same clothes as he was earlier in the day. We told you that 11 police cars pulled up to Justin’s home and he was detained in his garage as they searched for any type of evidence that could implicate him in the vandalism attack.
Will Justin Go To Jail?
We told you that Justin could go to jail for up to a year if he is found guilty of felony vandalism, according to James E. Silverstein.
“If the crime is charged as a stand alone misdemeanor vandalism, the defendant can face a steep fine, restitution, and up to one year in the county jail,” James told us. “If found guilty of a felony, the individual can be placed into custody for up to three years and/or placed on felony probation. The defendant also faces a steep fine and victim restitution.”
