Breathe deep, Twihards, and read on for more!
Robert Pattinson: ‘Twilight’ Fans Might Like ‘The Rover’ — He Hopes So, Anyway
We asked Rob whether his Twihards would like The Rover, and he said he wasn’t sure, but “hopefully they will like it. I never know how people are going to react to it. I never knew how people were going to react to Twilight.” Indeed — who could have predicted that craziness?
He’s also not sure whether The Rover will finally be the one to break him out of that Twilight mold — “I don’t know,” Rob told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I don’t have any expectations of any movie that I do. I hope that people like it! I mean, I like it,” he laughed.
Robert Pattinson Enjoyed Filming In Isolation In The Australian Outback
The Rover was filmed in the Australian outback, and it’s a dystopian crime drama which takes place ten years after a global economic collapse. Rob plays Reynolds (or “Rey”), a naïve southern American who gets injured during a robbery gone wrong.
As you might imagine, Rob enjoyed filming away from the usual paparazzi-laden craziness that is his life. “Basically the only people around were the ones who were working on the film, so it’s great for the concentration,” Rob told us. “I really loved it!”
So, HollywoodLifers, will you be seeing The Rover once it hits a theater near you? Twihards, are you happy that Rob is still so loyal to his fanbase?
