Jeff Davis, creator of ‘Teen Wolf’, has revealed in a new interview that there will be ‘more death and destruction’ in Beacon Hills for Season 4.
Will Beacon Hills ever be safe? In a new interview, Jeff Davis, creator of Teen Wolf, revealed that there will be “a lot more death and destruction” in Beacon Hills, and that our beloved teenage werewolves (and co.) will be in “a lot more danger.” In other news, water is wet. Read on for more!
Jeff Davis: ‘Teen Wolf’ Season 4 Will Feature ‘More Death And Destruction’
“There’s a central, core mystery,” Jeff told AccessHollywood.com. “It’s all based around a hit list that our supernatural creatures find themselves on … [It’s] a season of assassins and bounty hunters. There will be a lot more danger.”
This seems fairly opposite from what the cast revealed in the behind-the-scenes video from the “Can’t Go Back” promo shoot. In the video, Dylan O’Brien told cameras that Season 4 will be “sort of stripped down from all the craziness that went on in Season 3,” and that we’d see a return of “buddy-buddy” scenes between Stiles and Scott (Tyler Posey).
Jeff Davis: Lost Cast Members Have Provided The Opportunity To Try New Things
Regarding the loss of several cast members (Crystal Reed and Daniel Sharman, we’re looking at/crying about you), Jeff said that, “It’s hard, but it gives us a chance to try new things… liven things up and create new relationships and dynamics. We have great actors like Dylan Sprayberry,” who is currently 15 years old, by the way, and looks 23, “who is going to be playing Liam, [and] Khylin Rambo, who is going to play Mason.”
Finally, Jeff told the outlet that his favorite episode is the premiere — which we’ve seen — so, buckle up! It’s something else.
So, HollywoodLifers, what do you think? Is Jeff playing games with our heart? Is there really going to be more “death and destruction,” or is Dylan right? Furthermore, I want to hear your preferred tagline for Season 5. So far, my best is “Let’s All Hug.” Let me know your thoughts below!
