Fox has released the first trailer for its unique film ‘Birdman’starring Emma Stone, 25, and Michael Keaton, 62. The always-beautiful Emma is radiant in the trailer and is shown making out with an older man! What?! Who?! Watch below!

Emma Stone‘s career does not seem to be slowing down! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress is taking on another superhero-esque film to add to her resume. Birdman isn’t your typical spandex-laden film, however, instead revolving around a washed-up iconic superhero actor — Michael Keaton — who struggles to reclaim his career. With a phenomenal cast, this dramedy looks like it will be a must-see once it hits theaters October 17!

‘Birdman’ Trailer: Emma Stone & Michael Keaton Star — Hits Theaters October 17

Birdman is a black comedy that tells the story of an actor (Michael), who has become famous for portraying an iconic superhero. However, life didn’t pan out for him like he had planned and he finds himself struggling to deal with the opening of a Broadway play, in which he is starring in an attempt to get his career back in order.

How fitting, considering that Michael once starred in the Batman franchise and has never really been able to reclaim the glory days of the early ’90s in Hollywood! The always-hilarious Emma portrays the heartbroken and disappointed daughter of Michael’s washed-up character.

The teaser trailer opens up to a slowed-down version of Gnarls Barkley‘s “Crazy” playing in the background as Michael’s character walks backstage at his Broadway play, during what looks to be the opening night. A bizarre raspy voiceover then says to Michael, “How did we end up here in this dump? You were a movie star, remember?”

‘Birdman’ Trailer Shows A Crazy Romance Between Emma Stone and Ed Norton

Speaking of crazy, what older gentleman do we see Emma kissing? None other than previous superhero himself, Edward Norton! But don’t worry, Spidey, it’s just for the movie!

Later, the voiceover can be heard reminding him, “You’re Birdman; let’s go back one more time and show them what we’re capable of.”

But what does it all mean? Will Michael reclaim his iconic title in the film and in Hollywood? Will Emma run away with Ed? Did we just see Zach Galifianakis for a brief second? Is there an actual bird in this film?

Let us know, HollywoodLifers, are you excited to find out the answers to these crazy questions and see Birdman on October 17? Comment below!
