Harrison Ford Hospitalized — Actor Suffers Ankle Injury On ‘Star Wars’ Set
The force was NOT with Harrison on June 11, when a hydraulic door reportedly fell and hit him, possibly breaking his ankle, our sister site Variety reports. The legendary actor was filming at Pinewood studios in England when the accident occurred, and he was airlifted to the hospital shortly after.
Disney said in a statement: “Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates.”
We hope Harrison is back in action soon!

We’re more excited than ever for the latest installment of Star Wars, especially after the first photos from the set were released in early June.
The pics were leaked from the set in Abu Dhabi, where the flick had been filming for a month.
One of the pics is of an extraordinary creature, which TMZ reports is an alien that appears in two scenes. The extraterrestrial is shown in a Tatooine marketplace, where it’s being manpowered by five men in its belly — so cool!
