When Andi Dorfman and Eric Hill got into a heated argument, ‘The Bachelorette’ paid tribute to his life by nixing the rose ceremony for a special sit-down with host Chris Harrison. On the June 9 episode, the unaired footage was seen, and showed what really went down — did Andi diss Eric?
Eric Hill left The Bachelorette on the June 2 episode, after upsetting Andi Dorfman by calling her a “TV actress,” and the aftermath of their argument showed how she really felt about him leaving the show.
Eric Hill Leaves ‘The Bachelorette’
Of course, his departure was even more shocking because Eric tragically passed away and the season is dedicated to him — but then he abruptly left the show, following a nasty argument with Andi.
After Eric and Andi’s fight, Chris Harrison hosted a chat with Andi, in lieu of the rose ceremony, in order to pay tribute to Eric. But on the June 9 episode, the unseen rose ceremony was shown (Tasos was eliminated), and Andi showed no sadness, in front of the rest of the guys.
“I just want to apologize to y’all because I don’t want you guys to think I’m in a funk. I still feel great about this,” Andi announced to her remaining suitors. “I came in here tonight and I told you guys that this was working and when I said it, I was smiling, and when I say it now, I’m still smiling.”
Did Andi Diss Eric After His Exit?
Andi acknowledged that her conversation with Eric “did not go as planned,” but that she still believed in the guys who were there, and she didn’t seem to care that Eric had left.
“It’s been obviously a very interesting night,” Andi told the men at the rose ceremony. “To be completely honest, that’s done for me. That part of the night is over and done.”
HollywoodLifers, do you think that Andi feels bad now for admitting that she was “done” with Eric? Let us know if you think it was in poor taste to show Andi forgetting about Eric or if it’s all just part of the show.
