On June 10, another scary school shooting took place in Troutdale, Oregon, about 12 miles east of Portland. Injuries have been reported at Reynolds High School, and the shooter is dead. See pics of the scary scene here.
Sue Strickland of the Troutdale Police Department confirmed that classes were in session when shots were fired insede the high school. There has been very few details released, but SWAT teams responded to the report almost immediately and began evacuating the students after the shots were first fired around 8:07 AM PST. So horrible. The high school is currently under lockdown while authorities completely sweep the building. Wednesday, June 11 will be the last day of school for the high school, where about 2,800 students attend.
Police have not yet confirmed or released any details, but one parent says that they were told the shooting began in the gymnasium.
UPDATE: One student has been confirmed dead, and the shooter has also been confirmed dead.

At 8:07 a.m. this morning, police responded to Reynolds High School on the report of shots fired at the school. Multiple agencies responded and tactical teams are currently evacuating students and staff. The situation is stabilized, the shooter is confirmed deceased. Parents are asked to reunify with their students at the Wood Village Fred Meyer located at NE 223rd and NE Glisan St. All other people are asked to stay away from the area. Hashtag will be using is #RHShooting Media staging is at the Cherry Park Safeway parking lot in the southeast part of the lot.
Additionally, a press conference will be held at 12:45ET.
