When concertgoers became a little too handsy with a crowd surfing female fan, Staind’s Aaron Lewis stopped the concert and gave them a piece of his mind. Read on to watch the video!
During Staind‘s appearance at Kansas City’s Rockfest on May 31, lead singer Aaron Lewis, 42, stopped the concert when he saw male fans inappropriately touching a female who was crowd surfing. Mid-song, Aaron called out the group of fans in a profanity-laced rant before signaling the band restart the song.
Aaron Lewis Stops Concert Mid-Song
Aaron did not hesitate when he noticed a group of male fans inappropriately touch a female crowd surfer. He stopped the concert abruptly — even though his band mates were not aware — to call out the group!
Once the music stopped, Aaron went on a one-minute rant. He told the group of fans — using many F-bombs — that the girl was 15 years old and that what they were doing was despicable.
“Alright, listen up, you f**king assholes,” Aaron yelled. “That f**king girl right there is, like, 15 f**king years old and you f**king pieces of s**t are molesting her while she’s on the f**king crowd. Your f**king mothers should be ashamed of themselves, you pieces of s**t. You should all be f**king beaten down by everyone around you for being f**king pieces of shit.”
Way to go, Aaron! He definitely did the right thing by speaking out — even if he was pretty aggressive.
Aaron Lewis’ Moment of Truth
Aaron warned the rest of the crowd that if he saw anything like this happen again, he would stop the concert and point them out.
Then, before the band started “Something to Remind You” over, Aaron told the crowd, “Now, girls, feel free to crowd surf safely,” according to Spin. The lead singer of Staind, looking out for young concertgoers everywhere.
