‘Teen Wolf’: Love Triangle For Stiles In Season 4? — Premiere SPOILERS

Season 4 of 'Teen Wolf' premieres on June 23, and with it, will there be a love triangle centered around Dylan O'Brien's Stiles Stilinski? Can fans expect Stydia, Stalia, or even some Sterek? Read on for spoilers from the premiere! Teen Wolf Season 4 premieres on June 23, and we literally could not be more excited. Werewolves, werecoyotes, werejaguars and weremiscellany aside, could there be a potential love triangle happening between Lydia (Holland Roden), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), and Malia (Shelley Hennig)? Read on to hear what we thought about the premiere and tell us what ships you'll be sailing for Season 4!

‘Teen Wolf’ Love Triangle: Will Lydia And Malia Battle It Out For Stiles’ Affection?

There has been a lot of teasing about a potential love triangle situation for Season 4, but I watched the premiere, and I’m not seeing it. Sorry to the fans of love triangles — if there are any of you out there — but it looks like there will be just one lady love for Stiles on tap for Season 4.

We’ve been seeing a lot of fan outrage over the possible triangle — and I see you, Rule 34, solving that problem already — but from what I can tell, you’re safe. For now.

So, Lydia or Malia — who will it be?

‘Teen Wolf’ Season 4: Will Stiles Find Love With Malia Or Lydia?

We all remember Stiles’ super-sensuous makeout sesh — and maybe more — with Malia in the basement of Eichen House (because psychiatric institutions breed romance) but will they continue where they left off? Or is Malia just too wild after spending her formative years as a coyote?

And what about Lydia? Now that Aiden (Max Carver) has died, and Jackson (Colton Haynes) is still in London, Stydia/Martinski shippers may finally get their wish. After all, they shared a kiss — kind of — after she used that tactic to calm him from a panic attack in Season 3A. (Hint: we’ll see a kiss used to calm someone down in the premiere. But between whom?!)

That said, I don’t want to speak for anybody else, but I, personally, would love for Lydia to focus on herself and on discovering what her banshee powers mean for her. She doesn’t need that love triangle drama! (Nor do Stiles or Malia, really.) However, it would be great for any of the characters to find love and happiness after the absolute trauma that was Season 3B! Although Derek should probably continue to steer clear of the ladies.

‘Teen Wolf’ Season 4: Will There Be Any Sterek?

Finally, I’d hate to leave the Sterek shippers without any scoop. While I certainly don’t want to promise (or spoil) any specific interaction between Stiles and Derek (Tyler Hoechlin), I think that you’ll all be very happy with the depth of Stiles’ consideration of Derek as an ally. (Sorry to be so vague!)

Lastly, I want the fanfic writers to have their fingers poised over their keyboards for the very last moment of the premiere — you’ll be inspired. Trust in that. I would never lead you on.
