Carrie Underwood Wins Video Of The Year At 2014 CMT Awards
Fans had been voting for Video of the Year throughout the entire award show, and the biggest award went to Carrie Underwood!
Blake Shelton with Pistol Annies & Friends was nominated for “Boys ‘Round Here,” Florida Georgia Line with Luke Bryan for “This Is How We Roll,” Miranda Lambert for “Automatic,” Luke Bryan for “That’s My Kind of Night” and Tim McGraw with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban for “Highway Don’t Care.”
Of course, Carrie won for her beautiful ballad “See You Again!”
Lionel Richie presented the award to Carrie, who had the cutest acceptance speech ever.
“Thank you so much! You’ve been awesome to me,” Carrie said to her fans, during her acceptance speech, pointing out how much she loves the song that she won for. Carrie was so adorable, saying that she was nervous and her heart was “still beating really fast.”
