Lucy has the honor of gracing the cover of ‘Flare’ magazine’s first-ever music issue! The crooning cutie looks amazing in the spread, and inside she admits that she isn’t afraid to sing about former relationships — just like Taylor Swift! Oh no — Lucy’s exes better watch out.
Actress-turned-musician Lucy Hale, 24, is in the spotlight now more than ever! The star, who covers the July issue of Flare magazine, looks amazing in one high-fashion look after another from the likes of Tom Ford, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors, to name a few. Not only does she look stunning, but we think it’s so cool that she was chosen to front the first ever cover of the music issue.
Lucy Hale — Taylor Swift Interview:
Hale dishes about everything from her new album, The Road Between, Hollywood, fashion, fame, and Taylor Swift!
It seems as though fellow country pop star, Taylor Swift, has been Lucy’s motivation to diss her exes and provides some musical insight! In regards to dissing her former flames in her new album, Lucy tells the magazine: “I don’t really keep in touch with many of my ex-boyfriends. But there are some digs in the album for sure.Taylor’s untouchable. She made country quote-unquote ‘cool.’ And she made it OK to talk about your problems. And be vulnerable. And talk sh*t about your ex-boyfriend. That’s so fun! Everyone wants to do that.” It is so true, everyone does want to do that — we’re right there with you!
Lucy Hale’s Fashion Sense:
Lucy also set the record straight about the fashion stereotypes of country-singers. “People automatically thought, She’s doing country, she’s going to be wearing gingham and cowboy boots and cowboy hats. That’s not my style. As the country sound has evolved, so has the fashion,” she said. So what exactly is Lucy’s style and where does she get her style ideas from? Apparently, her character, Aria, on her hit show Pretty Little Liars, is one of her style icons. “Aria, out of all the girls, is a risk-taker. It’s helped me break out of my comfort zone,” she said. We all know Aria is definitely a risk-taker — her style is so unique and cool — we envy her!
Today, June 3, is the debut of Lucy’s first album, The Road Between, and you can catch her on the cover of Flare magazine on NextIssue as of June 5 and on newsstands as of June 16! What do you guys think of Lucy’s magazine spread? VOTE
