Even though Andi is like, the most beautiful girl ever, Andrew allegedly spent their first group date on ‘The Bachelorette’ trying to scam on other honeys. If that’s the way Andrew’s going to start his relationship with Andi, he should just go home before he wastes any more of her time.
Craig‘s drunkenness notwithstanding, Andi Dorfman‘s season of The Bachelorette got its first injection of real drama on June 1 when JJ confronted Andrew about getting another girl’s phone number on a group date and subsequently bragging about it to the other contestants. Andi, who hasn’t found out about Andrew’s off-camera flirtations, kept Andrew on — so before the other shoe drops, he needs to take himself out of the running and stop making a mockery of Andi’s search for a husband.
‘Bachelorette’: Andrew Cheats On Andi
First of all, I’m totally assuming that Andrew is guilty of JJ’s charge — pretty much every other guy in the house corroborated JJ’s account of the story while no one (hardly even Patrick) defended Andrew. It seems crystal clear that Andrew got a rando’s digits instead of doing what he was supposed to be doing — charming Andi — and then went home and pulled a “How do ya like them apples?” to every other guy. (What a fatal mistake, by the way. Doesn’t he know he can’t trust any of those dudes?)
It’s a total slap in the face to Andi, who’s 100 percent serious about trying to find her husband as The Bachelorette. She’s on this journey under the assumption that all of her bachelors are 100 percent serious about marrying her, so any guy who’s on the show just to have a good time, flirt with hostesses, and then maybe hook up with her is just wasting her time. And what’s worse, Andi sent home two guys in favor of Andrew last night — imagine if she just sent home the love of her life instead of giving a cheater the boot?
Andrew’s actions are also a gigantic red flag. How would Andi ever be able to trust him knowing that he was playing the field on their first date ever? If Andrew was flirting when he was supposed to be getting to know Andi, there’s no telling what he’d do behind the scenes if she actually dated him.
Andrew Needs To Leave — He’s Wasting Andi’s Time
Obviously there’s no way Andi and Andrew are ever going to work as a couple — he just isn’t putting the same amount of effort into the relationship as she is — so it needs to end before Andi gets too invested, or before any other, more worthy guys get sent home.
I don’t think Andrew’s going to own up to his infidelity and take himself out of the running, so someone will have to force him to leave. Luckily, it appears that’ll all hit the fan tonight, June 2, when Josh M. writes Andi a letter revealing all the gruesome details (snitches usually get stitches, but there is no guy code on The Bachelorette).
The Bachelorette is all about focusing on one girl — there is just no room for a polygamous guy here. Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Let me know!
