Jamie Lynn Spears, 23, is being criticized after sharing a video on Instagram of her daughter Maddie, 5, dancing to Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.” The song features quite a bit of profane language, including sexual suggestions that a little girl should not be listening to. Jamie Lynn Spears Under Fire After Daughter Maddie Dances To Iggy Azalea
Would you let your 5-year-old listen to rapper Iggy Azalea’s music?
Not only did country singer Jamie Lynn Spears do just that, she also shared video of her daughter, Maddie, dancing to the song on May 21.
Despite the song choice, the video is actually super cute. Maddie shakes her behind a little but, displays a little bit of sassy attitude, and rolls around on the floor.
However, critics are taking aim at Jamie for allowing her little one to listen to such a profane song.
Some of the lyrics talk about being a “bad b**ch,” and Iggy even alludes to letting men kiss and bite ber behind.
There is also a bridge in the song that says, “Trash the hotel, let’s get drunk at the mini-bar. […] Chandelier swinging, we don’t give a f**k.”
Hopefully Jamie and her daughter were listening to the bleeped-out radio version.
