Taylor Swift — we love you, we do. But after hearing at HollywoodLife.com that you were the one that set BFF Selena Gomez up with Niall Horan once again, we beg of you: butt out of your friends’ relationships!
Taylor Swift — it’s time to look inward. Why are you so insistent on getting so involved in your friends’ love lives and relationships? We know that you believe Justin Bieber is a bad influence on BFF Selena Gomez — and yes, I’m inclined to agree — but after we learned at HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that you were pulling the strings behind Selena and Niall Horan‘s London date on May 27, we must insist that you start letting sleeping dogs lie.
Taylor Swift: Stop Being So Involved In Selena Gomez’s Love Life
Taylor, when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reignited their relationship this spring, you reportedly gave Selena an ultimatum: Justin or yourself. Clearly, Selena chose Justin, as they began to publicly date again and you hadn’t been seen with Selena for quite some time — not until the Met Ball on May 5 when you reunited. Notably, Justin and Selena had definitely split by then.
Before Selena and Justin even got back together, however, you were behind setting Selena up with friend Niall Horan, member of One Direction. They went on a date back in February, and a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com that the two “made out a bit”.
Taylor Swift Has Been Doing ‘Everything She Can To Keep Selena Off Justin’
Now that Selena and Justin have parted ways once again, you are back in the mix and getting involved in your friends’ love lives, “Taylor has been pushing them to hang out again because she’s doing everything she can to keep Selena off Justin,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Taylor thinks Selena’s relationship with Justin is an addiction. She knows how hard it is for her to break so she’s trying to support her in any way she can.”
And hey, we get that — we appreciate, Taylor, the fact that you’re trying to help your good friend heal. However, sometimes you just need to let your friends do their worst — sometimes they need to discover that they’re their own worst enemy on their own time.
It’s time to let Selena be free to make her own choices and to simply be there as a supportive friend for when she needs you.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you agree that Taylor needs to butt out, or do you think that she’s being a good friend? Let me know!
