Niall Horan makes dreams come true! The 1D singer surprised Leah Hession, 6, before the group’s show in Dublin, Ireland. Leah, who suffers from a rare form of kidney cancer, kept asking her mom if meeting Niall was just a dream. So sweet.
One Direction‘s Niall Horan, 20, is quite the charmer. The Irish singer took it upon himself to surprise a little girl, Leah Hession, 6, when he heard that kids cancer charity Aoibheann’s Pink Tie provided her and her mom, Lorraine, with tickets to 1D’s May 25 show in Dublin, Ireland. The concert itself was a treat for Leah, as she had recently completed a radiotherapy treatment for extreme pain caused by her kidney cancer which prevented her from walking.
Niall Horan Surprises Sick Fan, 6, At Dublin Concert
Wow. We are so impressed with One Direction’s Niall right now!
The 20-year-old singer surprised a little girl on Sunday, May 25, inside her VIP booth at the One Direction concert in Dublin, Ireland.
Leah’s mom, Lorraine, had reached out to the Irish kids charity Aoibheann’s Pink Tie (APT) and asked them for help getting her daughter to the concert. Not only did they provide both Lorraine and Leah with tickets to the show, they put them in a VIP booth that is usually reserved for dignitaries. Swanky!
However, when Niall heard that Leah would be attending the show, he made her day by completely surprising her and her mom in their booth! Lorraine said that Niall showed up completely on his own without a single security guard or escort in sight.
“[Niall] was so kind and generous and hugged [Leah] and signed all of her memorabilia. Leah keeps asking, ‘Was it a dream?’ This has given us precious memories that will be with us for ever,” Lorraine told the Irish Mirror.
That is so sweet!
Leah is the only person in Ireland who is currently battling an advanced stage of kidney cancer.
After his touching meeting Leah, Niall put on an APT wristband and wore it for the entirety of One Direction’s May 25 concert. What a guy!
