‘The Little Couple’ — Bill & Jen Answer Questions About Will & Zoey
It is no secret that Jen and Bill are crazy about their children, Will and Zoey, but it seems like the adorable toddlers have also captured the hearts of the viewers!
While answering questions about their children on the May 27 episode of The Little Couple, Jen and Bill enjoyed gushing about their adorable children.
Viewer Question: Will appears to have Bill’s personality, does Zoey have mom’s personality?
Jen: “Will definitely has a lot of your personality traits, which is so ironic, I just don’t know how that happened. He got your sense of humor from like day one, and he’s got your love of cars.”
Bill: “Yes, Zoey definitely has a bit of mom. Her affinity for certain things, shoes, she wears bows in her hair, she wears hats just like Jennifer. She’s wicked smart, so I think that’s another trait that the two have in common.”
Viewer Question: What do you feel is your biggest challenge so far as parents?
Jen: “The hardest things are seeing your kids in pain or crying or suffering, and knowing that you can’t fix it.”
Bill: “For me it’s playing both sides of the fence, you have to be the disciplinarian and I am also friends with my kids. I’ve heard some people say ‘ you’re not a friend, you’re a parent’ and I understand what people are saying when they say that, but to me, I enjoy being friends with my kids.”
Viewer Question: How long did it take Zoey to stop crying? She does have a good pair of lungs. Pretty sure Bill couldn’t wait for this to stop. Ha!
Bill: “When we first got Zoey, she gravitated to me for like 6 hours, I was her best buddy and a shoulder to cry on, and she normally stopped crying when I held her, but at some point during that first day it turned 180 degrees. She went from ‘ I want to hang on dad’s shoulder’ to ‘ I want nothing to do with the man’ and it stayed that way for like 6 weeks.”
Jen: “The orphanage caretaker said, ‘She’s not likely to like you because you are a man, she’s not used to being around men.'”
Bill: “She put a hex on me. I would say before Christmas she was a the point where I think at one point she jumped on my back, and that was right around the time where she was going from ‘ I was that man dead’ to ‘ we will let him live until tomorrow.”
Jen: “And now she says, ‘ I want him to live forever.’
Aw! nice touch Jen!
Jen and Bill were so sweet as they talked about their adorable children, Bill even admitted that his absolute favorite thing about being a parent is seeing the different smiles that his children have. He and Jen were also quick to admit that the kisses and affection weren’t bad, either!
Jen & Bill Talk Cancer & Potentially Adopting More Children
Viewer Question: Are there any plans to adopt any more children? If so, from where?
Jen: “There’s no plan, but we could hit every continent.”
Bill: “I wouldn’t say that it’s impossible, I think Jennifer and I talked about this a long time ago, that we were really interested in having two kids. But you know like a lot of families, I’m sure that itch will come around again, you know where all the fun and wonderful things that you experience with your 4-year-old or your 2-year-old will be gone and you will be wondering how can I get that back again. So it’s possible, I’m not ruling it out, but I think we are good for now.”
Viewer Question: How did you manage your chemo with two small children?
Jen: “The only way I was able to manage that was because of this gentleman sitting right next to me, and a lot of love from our family and friends. Not an easy thing to go through the challenges of chemotherapy with two toddlers running around, but because Bill was so awesome during that time, he took care of me and made it all work. I didn’t have to worry about like oh my gosh the kids are going to starve if I can’t move tonight.”
Bill: “That hasn’t changed since chemo.”
Jen: “That’s true, he still does all the cooking, that was my secret plan.”
Bill:” It was most important to me to make sure that if Jen had the opportunity to be with the kids, that it wasn’t cleaning up a diaper or cleaning up the kitchen, it was that she had quality time with the kids.”
Jen: “And you became maintenance dad instead of me being maintenance mom for awhile.”
Bill: “Yeah, I think Jennifer was exposed to her kids when she needed it most, when she was feeling a little bummed out about what was dealing with, that’s when instead of a dose of chemo she would get a dose of Will or a dose of Zoey, that was part of her therapy. It worked out.”
Viewer Question: Why is Bill such a stud?
Jen: “Yeah, why are you such a stud?”
Bill: “It’s my shape. Everyone loves a basketball with legs.”
Jen: “I love the fact that everyone things you’re handsome, but it gets me a little worried sometimes. Everyone keeps texting me, and emailing me, and tweeting me, ‘Oh I want a husband like yours’ or ‘Oh, he’s such a hot guy’ and ‘why can’t I find a man like you did’ and I’m like ok, so I am always afraid someone is going to come and whisk you away.”
Bill: “Have no fear, no one compares to you.”
Jen: “I think it’s that you are not only handsome, and you have an amazing personality, but I think it’s also I think it’s the way you treat me. You treat me like a princess and that’s what makes a lot of other women out there pretty jealous.”
Bill: “I’m flattered, it’s fantastic, but really I’m a stud to one person that matters, that’s all. That’s probably why so many women like it, because everyone wants to clone a Bill.”
Jen and Bill are just the cutest couple ever! They are such great role models and radiate such positive energy. We are glad that we got to see them interact and really show their appreciation for one another.
