For their pre-wedding brunch, obviously Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had to do it in style. On May 23, they were seen in Paris heading to designer Valentino‘s enormous French castle in the Île-de-France, the Château de Wideville — all clad in Valentino, of course!
The Royal Wedding has almost arrived! Kimye are set to say their “I do”s on May 24, and they are hitting all the milestones — first a bachelorette party, and now a pre-wedding brunch!
It’s only fitting Valentino hosted a pre-wedding brunch for Kim and Kanye, and that they were decked out in Valentino — she with her gorgeous butterfly dress, and he in a dapper navy suit — because Kim was actually wearing a $9,900 embroidered Valentino dress when Kanye proposed on Oct. 21!
Here’s some more that we know, thanks to Vogue‘s contributing editor, Andre Leon Tally, blogging about it for the magazine. Kim’s sisters were all there at the brunch, Kris Jenner, and Jonathan Cheban, and Valentino toasted the couple in both English and Italian: “I would love to toast these two beautiful people here before me,” and then in Italian: “I wish you much success, a lot of love, and a long life.”
Kris, who is also the belle of the ball, made a toast: “I first want to toast Kim and Kanye, who love each other, and I say for all of us, this is the most beautiful place we’ve ever been.”
Kim was reportedly overheard talking to Valentino and Kris about doing Pilates and that she discovered it after having given birth!
What did they eat? We have the answer: artichoke hearts salad and poached egg with hollandaise, for their first course. Their second course consisted of: baked sea bass with zucchini, a mix of vegetable tempura and saffron risotto Milanese.
Then the guests took a tour of the castle before heading back to their hotel to get ready for the rehearsal dinner at Versailles!
Furthermore, on May 21, several garment bags from Valentino were pictured being delivered to Kim and Kanye’s Parisian hotel, according to MailOnline. Could Kim and Kanye be wearing the brand on their big day, as well?
Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner each posted Instagrams, posing in Valentino themselves, on the enormous grounds of the Château de Wideville.
The Château de Wideville, once owned by King Louis XIV — and where he kept his mistress — is an enormous, sprawling castle which rests upon 120 acres, and can seat up to 1,000 people. Not a bad place to host a brunch!
Valentino purchased the castle in 1998, and splits his time in between there and his 152-foot-long yacht, the T. M. Blue One.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Could Kim and Kanye be wearing Valentino on their big day? Have you been loving their pre-wedding fashion? Let us know!
