Wise words from RPattz! In a new interview at the Cannes Film Festival, the ‘Twilight’ star joked that child stars could become ‘serial killers,’ but what about Justin Bieber?
After months of lying low, Robert Pattinson is back and chatting it up! At the Cannes Film Festival, Rob opened up about what he thinks of child stars and the troubled Justin Bieber. Brace yourselves — Rob’s opinion may surprise you!
Robert Pattinson Supporting Justin Bieber
While at the Cannes Film Festival to promote his new movie The Rover, Rob talked candidly about Justin Bieber, in an interview with Vanity Fair. Rob hadn’t run into the Biebs in France, but the two are acquainted.
“I’ve met him before, though, on his party bus,” he told Vanity Fair. “I’ve met him a couple of times. He’s all right.”
Rob has noticed the downward spiral of young stars like Justin and revealed that such mass amounts of fame can be “terrifying.”
“I’ve met a lot of kids like him,” Rob said. “The scene with him and the little girls bitching about everybody — you just see that a lot. When you see these kids, there is only one way: you either get in therapy now or become a serial killer, or kill yourself. I mean, you can see it really early on — it’s terrifying.”
Wow, those are three very different choices. Justin should take a look at how Rob handled the Twilight fame, because he could learn a thing or two!
Rob’s Return To The Big Screen
In addition to The Rover, which is due in theaters June 20, Rob has many great films coming up. He hasn’t been seen on the big screen since The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in 2012, but that is about to change! Rob is also starring with Julianne Moore in Map to the Stars as well as Life with Dane DeHaan.
We’re so glad to see Rob back on the Hollywood scene. We’ve missed him!
