Season 28 of ‘Survivor’ wasn’t an easy one. What started with beauty, brains and brawn, ended with four backstabbing teammates — including one who lied about his career before making promises on his family’s lives … only to break them later. So who won ‘Survivor: Cagayan?’
After 40 days in Cagayan, a province in the Philippines, Survivor came to a grueling end, and one of the final four became the $1 million winner. Spencer Bledsoe, Yung “Woo” Hwang, Kassandra “Kass” McQuillen and Tony Vlachos all made it to the final episode — but who took home the title of Survivor on the May 21 finale?
‘Survivor’ Winner: Tony Vlachos Wins In ‘Cagayan’ — Season 28 Finale Recap
From the moment the Solarrion tribe was formed Tony, 39, had taken control of it all — he had the brawn to win challenges and create spy huts, and was able to lie better than anyone else which actually worked most of the time.
Spencer (my personal favorite) may have been pushed around on the brains tribe, but once the teams joined together, he proved that he was much stronger than pretty much everyone else and knew that the only way to really be safe was to WIN immunity — so it seemed to do it over and over again!
Woo — well, no one really knows how Woo made it to the final four. He slipped under the radar time and time again and managed to pretty much keep his name out of everyone’s mouth the whole season.
And then there’s Kass, who was also on the brains tribe with Spencer and definitely has had her fun manipulating the tribes and going back and forth between different alliances.
So who came out on top? The winner of season 28 is … Tony Vlachos!
The finale was definitely full of craziness. The final three were Woo, Kass and Tony and the jury surprisingly chose Tony as their champion!
