Does DJ Tanner have a larger sway over the American population than I could have ever imagined? On the May 19 episode of Dancing With The Stars, a shocking elimination had one of the most popular couples hitting the road while Candace Cameron Bure and her partner, Mark Ballas, got to stay yet another night for a last chance to compete for the mirror ball trophy! Read on and tell me if you agree that it was a crime, a crime, that Candace and Mark are still in the competition!
‘Dancing With The Stars’ — Candace Cameron Bure Deserved To Go Home Over James Maslow
Don’t get me wrong — Candace and Mark are good people. Candace is a lovely person; a wife, a mother, a ’90s icon — but her dancing skills are simply not even close to those of James’!
‘DWTS': James Maslow & Peta Murgatroyd Deserved A Chance At The Mirror Ball Trophy
Perception of their dancing skills aside, Candace and Mark’s scores are just consistently, quantitatively lower — or, at best, tied with — James and Peta’s. For example, on their last night, Candace and Mark scored a cumulative 51 vs. James and Peta’s 58.
The previous week, Candace and Mark scored a 72 vs. James and Peta’s 76.
On the May 19 episode, Carrie Ann Inaba praised James for being the most versatile dancer of the season, where Candace received criticism for still being a bit stiff on the dance floor — despite her enthusiasm for dancing itself, which is very clear, and that’s awesome for her! But she still shouldn’t have made it to the finals over James.
