Christina Grimmie has been a major player on The Voice ever since her first audition, and she has one last night to prove that she is America’s next winner. ‘The Voice’: Will Christina Grimmie Win Season 6?
The Voice is heading into its big two-part finale tonight, Monday, May 19, and Christina Grimmie is going up against finalists Jake Worthington and Josh Kaufman. All three singers are insanely talented, but Christina has a huge YouTube following and has been a star throughout the season.
Christina stunned the judges — ultimately landing on Adam Levine‘s team — ever since she belted out Miley Cyrus‘s “Wrecking Ball” in her blind audition, and she’s impressed throughout the season. Does she have what it takes to win over America and take the title of the Season 6 winner?
“It will feel like it wasn’t even real,” Christina EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com about potentially winning. “After all that we have been through this show…to win and look back at it, all that paid off. And then to stand on stage and sing the winning song, I can’t even imagine!”
Christina Grimmie Will Take Risks On The Finale
Battling against smooth crooner Josh and country boy Jake is tough business, so how will Christina prep to beat the competition? By taking risks.
“I feel like being safe could be bad and could be good…same thing with taking risks,” Christina tells us EXCLUSIVELY. “For me if you don’t do something crazy or out-of-the-box, how are you [going to] achieve new heights in life? Especially in this business, it’s all about what is different.”
Christina sure has proven to be different — she wowed with renditions of Lil Wayne and Drake songs, making them their own, and took big risks during the May 12 semifinals when she performed Imogen Heap‘s “Hide and Seek” and “Some Nights” by Fun. (WATCH her performances below.)
“If people keep seeing the same stuff then they will be like whatever and forget,” Christina tells HollywoodLife.com. “I want people to remember even if it was just OK or they didn’t get it or they loved it!”
We’re certain that whether or not Christina wins, everyone will remember her!
