Robin Thicke REALLY wants to woo wife Paula Patton back into his life — he even debuted a romantic new song inspired by their relationship at the Billboard Music Awards on May 18!
Robin Thicke and his wife, Paula Patton, are working on their marriage — and Robin proved just how much he’s willing to go the extra mile to win her back at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. The singer debuted an intimate new song “Get Her Back,” which is all about their rocky relationship!
Robin Thicke’s Performance: Billboard Awards — ‘Get Her Back’ For Paula Patton
Earlier in the night, Robin won Top R&B song for “Blurred Lines” and he made a point to thank Paula in his acceptance speech. “I want to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me all of these years,” he said. Aww!
When it came time for his performance, Robin clearly still had Paula on his mind. He took the stage to sing about getting his girl back and “treating her right,” and it was obvious that the song was inspired by his relationship troubles with Paula!
However, the singer was NOT wearing his wedding ring during the performance, and Paula was NOT in attendance at the awards show, so we’re not quite sure where he stands with her.
Robin Thicke & Paula Patton Calling Off Their Divorce
But those mixed messages aside, it seems Robin’s plan to woo Paula back is working. HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY learned from an insider close to the couple that the two are “definitely working things out.”
They are definitely working things out and Robin is definitely fighting for the relationship and that is exactly what she wanted all along, she felt he strayed and was not emotionally invested in their relationship but now sees that Robin is really trying hard. She loves him and he loves her and understands all relationships aren’t perfect but have to be worked on consistently. And that is exactly what is happening. I don’t see them getting divorced.
Hopefully Robin’s heartfelt performance tonight will help improve the situation, too!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Paula and Robin will get a divorce? Or will this performance officially win her back? Let us know!
