Ian Somerhalder, 35, and his sexy co-star, Nina Dobrev, 25, have had a rocky relationship in the past. A report was recently released on May 14 claiming that they were giving things "a go" one more time. Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev: Are They Friends With Benefits?

Ian and Nina just can’t leave each other alone, whether it’s on the set of Vampire Diaries or in real life. But are they headed towards another serious relationship or are they just keeping things easy for now? 

 

“They go back to each other from time to time for the familiar hookup but his [Ian] wandering eye makes it hard for her to take a relationship seriously,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

“She likes him more than he does but he wants the bachelor life now that he can take advantage of it. So they are friendly — hook up occasionally but are not dating,” the source adds.

Ian & Nina: Are They Getting Serious Or Are They Just Friends With Benefits?

These two on-set love birds started dating for real in September 2011. Sadly, the relationship fizzled out in May 2013, but a report was released that claimed these two had quietly given their relationship a second chance, according to CelebDirtyLaundry.com.

Maybe that second chance is just hookups for now but who knows where it can lead.
