Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are fantastic parents. Unfortunately, they slipped when they allowed their son Jaden, 15, and their daughter, Willow, 13, to attend the Coachella Music Festival without a single grown up or supervising adult in sight. Yikes! Weren’t they concerned about their children’s safety?
Willow Smith, 13, and Jaden Smith, 15, were allowed to spend an entire weekend at the Coachella Music Festival without any adult supervision. What were their parents thinking when they let their two children run off?
Will & Jada: Why Weren’t You Supervising Jaden & Willow?
How can two almost-perfect parents make such an epic mistake?
I have to admit, I am a huge fan of Will and Jada. They are both talented, gorgeous, and they have an adorable little family that everyone seems to be a fan of.
However, finding out that their two teenage children — Willow and Jaden — were allowed to spend an entire weekend unsupervised by adults at Coachella Music Festival is a little disheartening.
Because these two privileged teens were allowed to be alone with their friends for an entire weekend, there are now compromising photos of Willow and a grown man all over the internet.
In two photos posted to Moises Arias‘ Tumblr account, the 20-year-old actor is lying shirtless in bed alongside Willow, who is seven years younger than him.
It is no secret that Jaden and Moises have been friends for years, but why would a 20-year-old man want to lay in bed with a 13-year old girl? Even if they meant no harm by it and their relationship is nothing but platonic, it is still cringe-worthy to think about.
No parent in their right mind would want to see their teenage daughter lying in bed with a grown man, so I’m not sure why Jada and Will are okay with it.
Jada & Will Should Be Concerned About Strangers Too
Compromising photos aside, Coachella is a seemingly harmless event. But it is also two nights and three days out in the desert, surrounded by thousands of other people — mostly adults.
This day and age, you can not trust anyone. As parents, Will and Jada should know this better than anyone else.
Sure, Willow and Jaden are not exactly troublemakers, and it’s safe to say that they are both far more mature than any other teenagers we know, but that doesn’t mean they were safe out there.
Will and Jada, we know that you are both very busy people. Obviously you can not take a weekend off from filming or producing just to accompany your children to a three-day concert. But don’t your children have their own bodyguards? If you make a security team detail them while they are out and about in L.A. with their friends, why were they left alone and unsupervised all the way out in Indio?
So, tell us HollywoodLifers, what do YOU think? Do you think Will and Jada should have let their children go to Coachella alone? Let us know your thoughts below!
