Although the Met Gala is a fashionable affair, a majority of the celeb set decided to ditch their gowns for more comfortable looks before heading to the afterparties! While many stars donned minis or even jeans, some took the opportunity to show off yet another formal frock — and we can’t get enough of all the versatile styles! From Kristen Stewart to Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Rita Ora, see who changed before partying the night away.
Met Gala After Party 2014 Best Dressed Outfits:
KStew made a major return to the red carpet as she arrived at the Met Ball clad in a sheer Chanel ensemble — but it wasn’t long before she traded the frock for her favorite go-to — jeans and sneakers! Kristen definitely looked way more comfortable in her jeans, although we must admit we were definitely more fond of her look on the red carpet.
Denim seemed to be the go-to for the model set — perhaps KStew was giving us her best “model off duty” look? Brit it-girl Cara Delevingne traded her Stella McCartney ensemble for jeans, and she looked ready to party!
While Kristen kept it comfortable, RiRi got glam in a seriously sexy way, as she slipped into a slinky gold gown — and it made it clear that she wasn’t wearing any underwear beneath her frock! We weren’t surprised to see RiRi all decked out — after all, she was the belle of the ball! We all know the songstress loves a good party, so we weren’t surprised to see her throw her very own post-Met Ball bash, which was attended by a slew of stars, including Kendall and her lil sis, Kylie Jenner!
Gold seemed to be another popular theme, as Rita Ora traded her Donna Karan Atelier gown for a romper from the fashion house — and she kept on her bondage boots from the red carpet.
