Even with all the action on 24: Live Another Day, there has to be room for some romance! Actress Kim Raver tells HollywoodLife.com all about her return to 24 and the true love that Audrey shares with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). Before the big premiere, read on for all the scoop on the summer’s most anticipated series.
Jack and Audrey’s romance was one of the many highlights of the series. They were madly in love, but circumstances kept them apart.
When we last saw Audrey, she wasn’t doing too hot. She was deeply traumatized after her kidnapping and was left nearly catatonic. Her father (William Devane) forced Jack to leave Audrey behind, but before he left, he sweetly told her, “I love you with all my heart…and I always will.” (Sigh.)
However, when we first meet Audrey again on 24: Live Another Day, she has moved on and is happily with her father’s Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau (Tate Donovan). Despite being married to Mark, Kim tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why Audrey hasn’t totally forgotten about Jack.
“I’m hopeless romantic. I think a major part of the relationship between Jack and Audrey is that, for me, they are that true love. But it’s so complicated. I think people relate to that because it’s like the true love they once had or it’s the true love they are looking for or it’s what they are in the middle of now.”
Kim remained tight-lipped on the intense and fast-moving plot of 24: Live Another Day, but she did divulge to HollywoodLife.com on why there is a possibility for a Jack & Audrey reconciliation.
“I will say Jack Bauer to Audrey is her deep, true, soulmate love,” Kim reveals EXCLUSIVELY. “What happens with that, I can’t give too much away.”
We can’t wait to see what 24: Live Another Day has in store this season, and how Audrey and Jack’s relationship intersects, as he tries to save the world once again.
