Listen up, Ed Sheeran lovers! The soulful singer has a new tune for us and it may be his best yet! Read on to listen yet another new track off of Ed’s upcoming album, ‘X.’

Ed Sheeran is just teasing us at this point. The singer-songwriter has released another new song, “One,”  in anticipation of his upcoming album, X, on May 2. So take a break, relax and listen to this beautiful tune by the British crooner.

Ed Sheeran Showcases New Song ‘One’

Ed shared his all-new song “One” with the world on May 2. The singer kept things simple with a black-and-white video of just him and his guitar belting out his latest tune live. While every other star blows millions on extravagant videos, Ed proved he doesn’t need any superfluous music video antics to show off his stuff.

As for the song, it’s emotional and raw as Ed sings about a former love being “the one.” (Someone grab the tissues, please!)

Ed Sheeran Set To Release New Album

Ed’s second studio album, X (pronounced “multiply”) is set to drop June 23. In addition to “One,” Ed has also released and performed other singles from the album including “Don’t,” which he performed at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on May 1.

“One” is the complete opposite of “Don’t.” While “One” is about lamenting a love, “Don’t” is definitely a diss to a former girlfriend, who is allegedly Ellie Goulding!

Ed is already living up to expectations with the release of “One.” His debut album, +, was superb, but these new songs have us thinking X could be better than his first!

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of “One?” Is it a new favorite? Are you excited for Ed’s upcoming album? Let us know!
