Tragically Peaches Geldof couldn’t escape the same demons of heroin addiction that claimed the life of her mother, Paula Yates, in 2000.
A toxicology report was released, May 1, and the results show that heroin played a role in the death of Peaches Geldof, 25, just as it did in her own mother’s death (Paula Yates). Sadly both women were discovered dead in their homes with one of their young children playing by their side.

Peaches was just 11 when her mother was discovered with her young sister Tiger Lily, just 4,trying to wake her mother up.
Tragically, 11-month-old son Phaedra Bloom Forever was found at Peaches’ side at the time of her death on April 7.
“The most important thing is that he’s OK,” a friend of Peaches’ revealed to The Sun. “The hope is that Phaedra was so young he wasn’t aware of what was going on,”
Just hours before her death, Peaches posted a picture of herself as a young girl being held by her mother. The caption under the photo simply read: “me and my mum.”
