The Duchess single-handedly sported the best looks we’ve ever seen on her — and we aren’t the only ones who noticed! Talented designers are also praising the Duchess for her divine Royal Tour style.
The ever-so-classy Kate Middleton, 32, stunned in a fabulous collection of dresses for the Royal Tour in Australia and New Zealand in April 2014. Keeping her look totally fresh day after day, the royal packed a total of 22 looks into the 16-day trip — and we loved each and every single one of them! Kate has solidified her role as a style icon, and even top designers were totally impressed with her fierce fashion. We thought we were Kate’s biggest fans, but clearly we thought wrong!
Isaac Mizrahi — Kate Middleton’s Royal Tour Style:
American fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi, 52, liked so many of her outfits he had trouble picking a favorite! “Kate Middleton is flawless, that’s what I think about her look. I don’t have a favorite look only because I think she is the most consistent style maker of the modern day. My problem with so many people is they look so different all the time, we always say, ‘yes,’ ‘no,’ ‘yes,’ ‘no.’ With her, she gives us straight tens across the board. She has such a keen sense of shape and color. At this moment, what she is getting right is her body,” the designer gushed when we caught up with him as he hosted the Spring Party 2014, benefitting Good Shepherd Services, in NYC on April 24. “Her body looks super gorgeous and I love her post baby body, she looks incredible to me!”

Georgina Chapman — Kate Middleton’s Royal Tour Style:
Georgina Chapman, co-founder of high-fashion label Marchesa, was also present at the spring soiree, and she agreed with Mizrahi! “She wears a dress really well and she always looks so chic and so beautiful. It’s too hard to choose a favorite look, because she just looks so amazing. I think her son may steal the show though,” she said, referring to our favorite little royal, Prince George!
Even fashion psychologist Karen Pine weighed in on the Duchess’ style — and she said Kate is totally embracing the spotlight! From vibrant reds to bold blues, Kate rocked cool hues on her trip. “Bold colors are good because what she’s saying is, ‘I’m not afraid to outshine Prince [William].'” She added that while Kate switched up her style, she was still appropriately chic for a royal! “At the same time Kate is not bucking tradition, she is showing respect for tradition because the coat dress is, of course, a royal staple that the queen wore, so she is going back to some of those styles, but with a new modern and more confident twist!”
We caught up with Karen at T.J.Maxx’s breakfast at the Highline Hotel where she, along with Jamie Chung, unveiled the findings from the first-of-its-kind, live fashion experiment that explored the evolution of how women use fashion as a vehicle to express their best self.
Kate clearly has taken the fashion world by storm, and we aren’t surprised!
