NeNe and Tony were eliminated during week 7 of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and I think it was their time to go — here’s why.
NeNe Leakes was quite the entertainer on season 18 of DWTS. Sure, she provided some laughs and gave us some girl power vibes during her “character” performances. But she also gave a lot of attitude, and seemed to be a challenge for pro Tony Dovolani. At this point in the competition, I think it was the right decision that she was eliminated. Do you agree?

I definitely think it was NeNe’s time to go home. I do commend her for keeping up with Olympians Meryl Davis and Charlie White, but she was definitely not as skilled as the other competitors.
That was very obvious in the team dance on April 28, where she was alongside Charlie & Sharna and James & Peta. It almost seemed like they put her in the back of the dance, and showcased the other celebs much more than her. She looked like she was struggling to keep up.
In her personal life, NeNe has been outspoken about the fight between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams during part one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.
The drama seemed to follow her on DWTS. I just couldn’t feel for her with so many distractions.
Ever since week five, when NeNe stormed out of practice after yelling at Tony, and then basically refused to answer questions from host Erin Andrews, she’s left a bad taste in my mouth.
Plus, she didn’t even thank Tony after getting voted off on April 28. She said she was grateful for the experience, but I’m not sure I believe her.
Do you think NeNe should have been sent home, HollywoodLifers?
