Kate’s hairdresser Amanda was paid a reported £6,000, which equates to over $10,000 US Dollars, for the tour.
Normally, Amanda charges £150 for a cut and blow dry, which is about $250 US Dollars.
A friend of Amanda’s told the Daily Mail, “Amanda charged twice what she normally does because this tour was so far away and so long.”
Kate was reportedly thrilled with the styles she wore on tour, thanks to Amanda.
She also recently cut off four inches of her hair, since Queen Elizabeth allegedly said her hair was “drowning her,” according to an aide.

Kate was able to splurge on her hairstylist because she does her own makeup!
The Daily Mail says Kate applied her makeup a bit heavier than normal, and wore Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation, which has an SPF built-in.
