Justin is on a roll! Just a day after releasing ‘Hard 2 Face Reality,’ the singer released yet another free song on SoundCloud — this one a ballad called ‘We Were Born For This’ where he sings about how he had to ‘sacrifice’ the most important thing to him for fame.
This could be the most emotional we’ve ever heard Justin Bieber sound. On April 28, Justin tweeted out the link to his new song available on SoundCloud, in which he tells the haters he’s “here to stay,” tells his fans how much he loves them, and sadly mentions that he gave up “what meant the most” to him — is he talking about losing Selena Gomez?
Justin Bieber Releases ‘We Were Born For This’
We’ve got to say — this is a huge week for Justin, and it’s only Monday! The 20-year-old definitely sung about Selena in “Hard 2 Face Reality,” and it sounds like she’s on his mind constantly, since he shouts out to her in this one as well.
“We Were Born For This” is all about Justin going through ups and downs, facing fans and haters every day. To the fans, he has a strong message: “Look at all the people standing outside / So dedicated / Your love doesn’t go unrecognized.”
However, he’s telling the haters that he’s done wasting their time and he’s not going anywhere in the music scene: “You go your way, and I’ll go mine / ’cause this is my time and I won’t waste it / thinking ’bout what you gotta say / ’cause I’m here to stay.”
Justin Sings To Selena Again?
However, the most touching part of the song is when he sings about all the places he’s visited through his career, and he adds that it “doesn’t come easy” before mentioning his lost love:
Look at all the places / places that I’ve been.
It doesn’t come easy / you gotta have strength/
And when it goes down / and it’s all said and done
You gotta stand up to them / there’s no need to run
And now that I’ve made it / I won’t look back no
Sacrifice what meant the most to me /The most to me
Yes I did.
We know how important Selena is to Justin — he posted a throwback photo with her on the beach on April 23 — just five days before releasing the song! It sure sounds like he’s trying to win her back through song, by singing that he had to “sacrifice” her for the fame!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you like the song? Do you think he’s talking about sacrificing Selena? Let us know.
