Xzibit lost it — literally! On April 23, the Pimp My Ride rapper threw a metal chair and slapped Australian promoter Mastacraft, aka Patrick Whyntie, in the face, all because the backstage treatment he received was NOT up to his standards.
Amazingly, the entire explosion was caught on camera!
In the video, you hear the rapper screaming at the promoter, telling him to “Get the f**k out of here, I’m gonna f**k you up.” The poor promoter sounds completely shocked, and responds by saying “Ah Jesus Christ, what is your problem?”
Not wanting to be challenged, Xzibit then throws a chair across the room saying, “What do you wanna do, you’re gonna get knocked out.” And then X introduces him to his five fingers.
The fight reportedly broke out because Xzibit felt he wasn’t be treated like the star he is (was?), according to the Daily Mail. Mastacraft returned backstage from his opening set to find X’s manager arguing and “disrespecting every staff on some diva s**t” because Xzibit was allegedly picked up from the airport in an old Subaru with broken windows, and was forced to pick up his own taxi to soundcheck, just to find that none of the equipment had been set up. Remember, this is the host of Pimp My Ride we’re talking about, so an old Subaru isn’t going to cut it.
However, Mastacraft claims that X was picked up in a $50,000 BMW. He also put the rapper on blast, telling Sydney Confidential the 39-year-old Detroit-born rapper hits like a lady.
“It wasn’t very hard, it was a girly slap. I just laughed,” Patrick told the publication. “I couldn’t believe it. He was just acting crazy, yelling, abusing us.”
What do you think about this whole altercation, HollywoodLifers? Was Xzibit being a diva? Watch the video above and let us know!
