‘The Face’ Recap — Season 2 Episode 8:
There was something dazzling about this week’s competition! The models shot a fashion film for Chopard diamonds, where they had to run from a motorcycle biker in 10-inch heels. Keeping in mind a stunning appearance, graceful movement and a flawless performance, the gals had to prove there expertise to Marc Hruschka, the president and CEO of Chopard.
With a little help from Elle magazine’s Fashion News Director Anne Slowey, the models were ready to steal this week’s winning prize, which was taking home their very own Chopard diamond bracelet. In their final takes of the team’s fashion film, Tiana did a fabulous job keeping her poise while running in the heels — but went too over the top with the delivery of the Chopard tagline. Team Lydia’s girls looked stiff and awkward in the fashion film, but it was Ray’s perfect delivery that gave the girls a fighting chance for victory — but not so fast! After Afiya wiped away some tears from the practice time, Team Naomi swooped in with an awesome performance by both Afiya and Felisa, awarding them with the big win!
When it came to elimination time, there was not much agonizing over who would be put in the hot seat. Anne V had no choice but to send in her only model left, Tiana. Lydia tried to use strategy by sending in Amanda, hoping Naomi would save her again, but this was not the case and Amanda was sent home.
Who do you predict will win the competition?
