‘The Voice’ has just kicked off the live shows for Season 6, but Adam Levine says he might not return for Season 7! Keep reading for our EXCLUSIVE interview with coach Adam.
Adam Levine is a fan favorite judge on The Voice, but will this be his last season sitting in his red chair? According to him, it might just be! HollywoodLife.com spoke with Adam EXCLUSIVELY on April 21 at the live shows’ debut in Los Angeles, and he tells us that he hasn’t confirmed whether he’ll come back for Season 7! Plus, he weighs in on Gwen Stefani joining the series.
Adam Levine Quitting ‘The Voice’ — Will He Coach On Season 7?
What will Blake Shelton do without his bromantic buddy?! Adding to the never-ending game of musical chairs on The Voice, Adam Levine just dropped a bombshell — he might not return for next season!
After April 21’s impressive first live show, HollywoodLife.com caught up with Adam Levine who is rumored to be leaving the hit singing competition. When we asked him if he’s really going to take time off, he told us, “I’ve got to check my schedule.”
We certainly do understand that superstars’ schedules are insanely busy, but come on, Adam! The Voice can’t go on without the Sexiest Man Alive!
While CeeLo Green and Christina Aguilera have taken time off, alternating seasons with Usher and Shakira, Adam has been a staple since the show’s offset, alongside best bud, Blake, and we’d hate to see him go. As we’ve previously reported, the coaches could easily leave, due to scheduling conflicts. Executive producer Mark Burnett admitted, “No one can be permanent; it depends on their schedules.”
We followed up, asking Adam once again if he is quitting the show, but he continued to tease us: “I don’t know,” he said. “I have to check my schedule.”
Adam Levine Weighs In On Gwen Stefani Joining ‘The Voice’
We already know that Pharrell is confirmed to join Season 7, and as HollywoodLife.com reported, Gwen Stefani is the top pick to join the judges’ panel, as Christina Aguilera’s replacement.
Adam told us all about Gwen joining the show, and while he said nothing is final just yet, he didn’t deny it! “We can neither confirm or deny,” said Adam. “She would be a really good addition to the show if she were to be on it, but that’s only a rumor as of now.”
Sounds like the blonde mom will be joining the show, if you ask us! Why else would Adam be so coy?
HollywoodLifers, do you think that Adam will really quit The Voice? And are you excited to hopefully see Gwen on Season 7? Let us know!
