On April 16, Prince George received his first marriage proposal from an adorable little girl in Wellington, New Zealand. While Prince William was greeting well-wishers in the capital city, he came across an 11-month-old girl wearing a t-shirt that read: ‘Marry Me Prince George!’ This is SO cute!
Prince George, 8 months old, is a wanted man already. The little prince received his first official marriage proposal on April 16 in Wellington, New Zealand.
Prince George’s First Marriage Proposal
When Ruby Cate Blitz‘s parents found out that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were coming to town, they had a brilliant idea.
Wearing a white t-shirt that read “Marry Me Prince George,” along with a tutu and a vivacious smile, little Ruby waved a British flag to get Prince William’s attention.
When Prince William saw her shirt he was very excited, and he told Ruby Cate’s parents that she was “absolutely beautiful.” He also made sure to call over Kate so that she could greet their potential daughter-in-law.
Prince George Hasn’t Responded To Proposal
Unfortunately for Ruby Cate, she may never get an answer to her proposal.
Though Prince William and Kate were able to chat with the little girl and her parents, they could not respond to the request on their son’s behalf. Sadly, Prince George was not at the event, even though it was the last stop on the royal family’s tour of New Zealand.
However, both the Duke and Duchess were incredibly sweet with Ruby Cate and her parents, and they even chatted with them for a few minutes before moving on to meet more well-wishers.
