Andre Johnson’s Suicide Attempt — Said ‘God Was Everything’ First
“God’s everything. God’s me. God’s you. God is everywhere,” Andre said in a 2011 interview with TMZ. This comes as a shock to all after his recent antics.
He was reportedly on the second story balcony of a building in North Hollywood, Cali. when he jumped, Los Angeles Police Sgt. William Mann told CNN. He survived the jump and was taken to Cedars Sinai hospital nearby. Doctors were reportedly not able to reattach his penis. Christ Bearer is part of Northstar, a rap group founded by the Wu-Tang Clan. The founding member of Wu-Tang RZA produced Northstar’s debut album.
Two members of the group live in the apartment building he jumped from and told TMZ that that there weren’t “any hard drugs that would cause him to do such a thing,” adding that they heard him screaming incoherently from the ground and ran down to try and help.
On April 15, just hours before the attempted suicide, the official music video was posted on YouTube for Christ’s hit with Rugged Monk, titled “Oooh!”
Christ’s most famous hit was from the film Blade: Trinity, titled “When the Guns Come Out.” Well, we’re happy to hear that he survived — hopefully the authorities can find out what went wrong and how to help!
