Emma Stone’s Picture Perfect Hair — Exclusive ‘How To’
Butterfly Studio Salon stylist Dana Tizzio exclusively shared with HollywoodLife.com how you can achieve this look for yourself:
“To achieve a look like Emma’s, try sleeping with 1 or 2 loose braids to get that beachy, natural wave effect in your hair. You don’t want your curls to look overdone. You can work with towel dried hair (to preserve your texture) or dry hair from the day of. Use a leave-in conditioner to make sure the look of the hair stays polished. In the morning, take out bedtime braids and gently shake out. Section out the part of your hair in the front, where you would like to wear a braid. How thick or thin is up to you.
With your hair section you will be creating a French braid. A good tip is to start your braid as close to the forehead as possible to get that crown effect and bring all sections of French braid to the forehead. Continue braiding, stopping where desired, and use bobby pin to secure.
For the rest, perfect your effortless waves with a 1 inch curling wand (no-clip). Take random sections of hair here and there and twist, letting hair go quickly. Don’t wait for the curl to form around too long so that you can create those loose, flowy waves that aren’t over bouncy. To finish the style, apply a texturizing spray like Oribe’s Après Beach to boost waves, help with control, and give them lasting shine for a sexy, undone final look.”
We love that Emma went with this look!
