Mimi Faust has gone from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta to Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta, and even though the VH1 show’s producers reportedly support her sex tape, her castmates haven’t been so understanding! They claim to be “mortified” by Mimi’s racy porn, but our source says they’re just mad that they didn’t think of it first!
Mimi stunned her castmates when she dropped Mimi & Nikko: Scandal in Atlanta, but a source close to Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star K. Michelle tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “Real talk, they’re jealous of the fame she’s getting off it but they don’t have the balls to do one themselves. This came out of left field. Like, Mimi dropped a bomb and it exploded big time.”
Our source tells us that K. even personally asked Mimi what she was thinking, and the newly minted sex tape star replied, “I was thinking about me and my family and doing it because I want to. Ain’t no shame in this game here.”
“K. was mortified but at the end of the day, it’s Mimi who has to live with herself,” the source adds. “Sometimes though, there are things more important than money. But more power to her.”
Mimi’s friends might not be the only ones who are jealous. Vivid Entertainment founder Steven Hirsch seems to think that Mimi’s sex tape could have the potential to be even bigger than Farrah Abraham‘s recent release, Backdoor Teen Mom.
“We were approached by a third party to release the tape. I wasn’t familiar with Mimi and Nikko [Smith] or Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” Steven told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “After doing some research, I realized just how big both the show and the tape could be. It was a struggle to ultimately get the deal done but we did. And this tape will be huge. Massive!”
We followed up by asking Steven if he thought Scandal in Atlanta could be even bigger than Backdoor Teen Mom, and he replied, “Early indications are that this will be a huge blockbuster. Sky’s the limit.”
Better watch your back, Backdoor Teen Mom, because Mimi is hot on your sex tape trail!
So what do you think, HollywoodLifers? Are Mimi’s friends just jealous of her sex tape success? Let us know!
