Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson — you’ve made it very clear to each other in deeds, if not words, in the last week that you are finally over each other. Now, it’s time for you to admit to each other and to yourselves — you are finally done.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, you have clearly closed the door on your turbulent, on-and-off, six-year romance. Robsten fans will be heartbroken but you need to stick with your decision — here’s why.
Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Split For Good: Admit It’s Finally Over
Rob and Kristen, you may have officially broken up last May, 2013, when you, Rob, split with Kristen, 24, after a heated fight. But the two of you really didn’t check out of your relationship for many, many months. After a few weeks of post-argument silence while you both desperately missed each other, you did start talking again and finally met up.
You agreed to “reunite” to walk your dogs, Bernie and Bear, together in October, 2013. And from that time on, you talked, you texted, you Skyped, and yes, you did see each other on a fairly regular basis.
Kristen, you held out hope that Rob, 27, would ultimately be able to forgive you for your terrible cheating mistake with Rupert Sanders. You were willing to give Rob his space for as long as possible, in hopes that letting him go would eventually bring him back to you.
You even told friends that you were just grateful that at least you had experienced “true selfless love” with Rob — something that many people never have once in their lifetimes.
Rob, you, on the other hand, missed Kristen “desperately” every day for a long time. You missed her smile, her laugh and all the fun times you had together.
However, sources told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that no matter how much you missed Kristen, you had lost that all-important sense of trust that you had once had with her. You also felt frustrated, when you had taken her back after her cheating, that she didn’t take the hurt of the episode seriously enough.
It irked you that she almost joked about the “incident” with Rupert.
Rob — the bottom line was that even though you did forgive Kristen, you ultimately couldn’t forget about the cheating.
But neither could you let all the love you had for Kristen go. Rob, you even sent Kristen flowers on Valentine’s Day, which made her day.
Robert Pattinson Is Ready To ‘Cut The Cord’ With Kristen Stewart
Rob and Kristen — for these past four or five months, both of you have thrown yourselves into your work. You, Rob, filmed Queen Of The Desert in Morocco, and then Life in Toronto.
Kristen, you’ve been equally busy, first filming Anesthesia, then Still Alice, and now American Ultra in New Orleans. But this past week included a major moment — your 24th birthday on April 19. Kristen, you were desperately hoping against hope that Rob would surprise you with a birthday visit in LA, and a source told us EXCLUSIVELY at HollywoodLife.com that you, Rob, certainly considered it.
“He’s super psyched to spend some quality time with Kristen,” explained the source. But then you didn’t do it, Rob. And then, Kristen, you decided not to fly from New Orleans to Coachella this past weekend, even though you were hoping that Rob would reunite with you there for a birthday celebration.
After all, the two of you loved being together at Coachella last year.
Instead, Rob went to Coachella with his pal Katy Perry, 29, and you stayed in New Orleans to prep for your new film America Ultra.
So, Kristen and Rob, you have to admit that you both decided to emotionally hold back from each other. As much as you still respect and care for each other, you’re not ready to see each other in person again.
Both of you have clearly decided that it is best not to reignite the romance that you both once thought would last forever. It was probably just too tough for either of you to contemplate getting anywhere near the deep hurt that you experienced with each other.
You two both took so long to get over each other to this extent, and you probably didn’t feel that you could cope with reconnecting.
Now, “Rob is beyond ready to cut the cord with Kristen. They were definitely in love, but the relationship has run its course and he was ready to move on,” a source close to you, Rob, told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
My guess is that you, Kristen, also finally feel ready to cut the cord.
It’s time for both of you to fully admit that your relationship is over. You’re both very young — lots of people have intense love romances at a young age, but it’s only infrequently that they actually last.
You weathered the intense storm of becoming celebrities together, you worked together and you even almost repaired your love after cheating took its toll. You should both be proud of the love you shared.
But now it’s over. Whether you can maintain some friendship or not, it’s time to tell each other, and to tell yourselves, that you must cut the cord.
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Should Rob and Kristen admit that their relationship is over for good? Let me know.
